DZIF TI BBD workshop: From planning to publication

The workshop “From planning to publication” aims to support DZIF researchers in designing and conducting research projects and managing datasets throughout the entire research lifecycle – from initial planning to publication – in a quality-assured, reproducible and translationally effective manner. The target group comprises primarily DZIF researchers working with bioresources, research data and digital health data.

The program focuses on six core areas of the Translational Infrastructure "Bioresources, Biodata and Digital Health" (TI BBD): use of the DZIF portal, OMICS data management, biobanking as a research resource, practical implementation of the FAIR principles, utilisation of DZIF pathogen expertise, and the application of artificial intelligence in research. Keynote presentations and expert lectures provide insights into current concepts and best practices. Interactive hands-on sessions enable participants to apply these approaches directly to their own research ideas, projects or datasets. The workshop thereby promotes exchange between researchers and infrastructure experts while strengthening research integrity, data quality and reproducibility.
