About the speaker

Dr. med. Alba Sulaj is a physician-scientist in the Department of Endocrinology, Diabetology, Metabolic Diseases and Clinical Chemistry at Heidelberg University Hospital, where she serves as Deputy Medical Director and leads the Lifestyle Interventions Research Group. After completing her medical degree at the University of Tirana, Albania, and earning her MD at Heidelberg University, she built a career at the interface of patient care, clinical research, and translational metabolism science.
