German Liver Foundation/HepNet Study-House, Hannover
Associated partners of the DZIF are researchers based at German universities and research institutions that are not among the DZIF's member institutions. At the German Liver Foundation/HepNet Study-House, Markus Cornberg is an associated partner of DZIF (as of March 31, 2026). Cornberg is also affiliated with Hannover Medical School, a regular DZIF member institution.
Liver diseases and their treatment are the focus of the German Liver Foundation (German only). The HepNet Study House networks study centres and establishes contacts with practices and physicians throughout Germany who are interested in participating in hepatitis research studies. As a central contact point for scientists and cooperation partners, it creates a platform for conducting clinical trials. The DZIF can use infrastructures and cohorts for its projects.
