Short description

CEPI stands for "Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations." The international partnership, in which DZIF is also involved, supports the development of vaccines and other biological countermeasures to better prepare the world for epidemics and pandemics.

Detailed description

CEPI supports the development of vaccines and other biological countermeasures against pathogens that could cause epidemics or pandemics. A key goal is to significantly accelerate the development of new vaccines and ensure equitable access to them. Through its “100 Days Mission,” CEPI aims to make safe and effective vaccines available for use within 100 days of identifying a new pandemic threat.
