Hepatitis B is the most common chronic viral infection worldwide. The virus exists in blood and other body fluids. It infects human liver cells and propagates in them.
Virologist Professor Ralf Bartenschlager has received the Ernst Jung Prize for Medicine 2022. The award, presented by the Jung Foundation for Science and Research, recognises scientists who conduct
