Privacy policy for the DZIF's social media profiles

This privacy policy applies to our social media profiles on LinkedIn and Bluesky. In addition to our general privacy policy, we would like to inform you below about the aspects relevant to data protection in the context of our presence on these platforms, in particular with regard to joint responsibility in accordance with Art. 26 GDPR.

1. LinkedIn

We maintain a profile on LinkedIn. The provider is LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland.

Together with LinkedIn, we are responsible under Art. 26 GDPR for the processing of so-called “Page Insights” data, which is collected when you visit our LinkedIn profile. This data is used for statistical analysis of user behavior.

2. Bluesky

We operate a public profile on Bluesky. The provider is Bluesky Public Benefit Corporation, 548 Market St PMB 34052, San Francisco, California 94104, USA.

When you visit our profile, Bluesky collects usage and access data (e.g., IP address, interactions, times), regardless of whether you have an account there.
